Front of House Assistant – Seasonal
To assist the Duty Manager/House Manager in the delivery of a highly effective Customer Service in our Theatre, Cinema, Box Office, Bar, Restaurant and Events Service throughout our busy festive period.
This is wide ranging post where staff will be highly skilled flexible and will work across a range of departments within our organisation.
Each week will encompass a combination of daytime and evening shifts, with the post holder expected to fulfil late night and weekend duties, including bank holidays.
Key Tasks Of The Post:
· Serve a range of food and drinks in our restaurant and bar, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
. Welcoming audience members and visitors and acting as a steward during shows and cinema screenings.
· Process bookings for show/cinema tickets and table reservations in the restaurant in person, via email or over the telephone.
· Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all areas of your work and adhere to health and safety at all times.
· Ensure all defined policies and procedures are adhered to, including completing any necessary paperwork associated with the role.
· Working within the cinema and auditorium to complete health and safety checks.
· Ensure all areas of the auditorium, bar and foyer are safe & clean at all times.
· Assisting with events team including room set up and assisting with food and drink service.
Experience
Essential
· Experience of working in a bar and/or restaurant.
· Previous Customer Service Experience in a similar role.
· Competent in the use of an Epos or similar till system.
Desirable
· Experience of working within the Theatre and Arts Industry
· Experience of food handling and preparation (cakes, pastries, and sandwiches).
· Experience of working on events such as weddings.
· Trained in First Aid.
· Experience of computer-based systems such as Spektrix or equivalent.
· Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate.
· Barista trained.
