Got your plans for Friday sorted? Let The Customs House entertain you…

We’ve had a really exciting week here at The Customs House. We’ve been running our third annual Takeover Festival. The Takeover is our arts festival for children and young people. This Friday we have two shows and a wonderful party in the Green Room cafe to celebrate. It would be fantastic if you could join us.

The shows and party are on Friday 2nd June and are FREE as they are part of our ‘Pay What You Like’ programme. This means you get a free ticket and if you enjoy the event and wish to support our work with children and young people then donate.

First, ‘Yes or No’ performed by the Junior Youth Theatre at 2pm. Get your PAY WHAT YOU LIKE tickets here or call the box office 0191 454 1234

This play is an exciting mystery where a group of friends uncover what happened to David on a school trip. Was it a tragic accident or something more sinister?

Next, a double bill at 7pm. ‘Mix Up’ a variety show performed by the Senior Youth Theatre followed by ‘Why are Cartoon Ducks Yellow?’ by visiting theatre company from Newcastle College ‘Rubber Duck Theatre Company’. Get your PAY WHAT YOU LIKE tickets here or call the box office 0191 454 1234

Finally, enjoy ‘The Takeover Aftershow Party’ in our Green Room Cafe and Bar. Celebrate the amazing work of The Customs House Youth Theatres, Rubber Ducks and The Takeover Team. The Takeover Team help us deliver this week of activities and events. Takeover Team volunteers develop their employability skills and experience.
