Speakers Confirmed for Primary Art Conference
Published: 14th May 2018
We’ve been busy making plans for the PATERN Conference. PATERN stands for the Primary Art Teacher and Educator Regional Network, a newly formed and influential network ran by teachers for teachers.
Why is The Customs House Hosting This Primary Art Conference?
The Primary Art Teacher and Education Network conference is a chance to develop your confidence and expertise linked to primary art, craft and design. The conference is ideal for teachers, teaching assistants, school leadership, and governors. It is suitable for teachers from SEND settings, primary and middle schools.
The conference is the idea of Susan Coles and Paul Carney two highly respected and experienced arts educators and Elizabeth Kane Learning Officer here at The Customs House. We meet to hear about the newly formed group PATERN. We thought this conference would address a gap we saw in the provision of professional development opportunities for primary teachers.
