Mini and Mega Makers: Make, Create and Explore Creative Activities for Kids in the Summer Holidays

We’ve had a couple of people ask whether Mini Makers is on next monday. There is no session next Monday. The first session is on Monday 30th July.

Let The Customs House help keep your kids entertained over the summer with fantastic affordable creative activities. Mini and Mega Makers craft sessions run every Monday in the school holidays.

We’ve just got back this film from Wycombe89 Media capturing the essential elements of Mini Makers fun, creativity (without the mess at home) and time with your family.

Each week we explore a different theme and get hands on with an exciting range of art materials.

  • 30th July Put it Together be an artist and make an exhibition. Stick things together.
  • 6th August Art Factory make art inspired by pop artists Andy Warhol
  • 13th August British Makers Enjoy activities inspired by artists living in the North East
  • 20th August All Together Now Make big art to transform a space
  • 27th August Strong Structures Create a paper city

You’ll be helped with the activites by our friendly team Elizabeth and Jayden (and sometimes the fantastic Beth and Lauren).

Mini Makers is for children under 11 with their grown-ups. Mini Maker sessions run from 11am till 1.30pm and you can stay as long or as little as you want.
