Is this training right for me?

This training is suitable for anyone with an interest in facilitating drama with primary aged children.

Whether you have lots of experience or have never delivered drama before. It will be especially useful for:

  • Primary teachers and trainees together with teaching assistants;
  • Cultural educators with an interest in drama;
  • Emerging drama facilitators and arts leaders.

This course equips you with a range of drama activities  you can link to subjects across the curriculum or children’s broader interests.

Drama Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Following the success of last year’s Primary Art, Craft and Design Conference The Customs House are pleased to offer another high quality training day. This time our CPD event will be focusing on drama.

Elizabeth Kane Learning Officer at The Customs House attended David’s courses in February. After the inspirational session Elizabeth was keen to bring him to our region and wrote,

‘It was amongst the best delivered and organised CPD I have ever attended. This was thanks to the mix of practical activity, resources and opportunities to talk. It was very useful for me to hear about the sorts of drama being taught in schools and heartening to meet so many people passionate about the subject.’
