Cast Revealed For Dennis’s Chocolatey Adventure

Fresh from his exploits in The Customs House Christmas Panto; Aladdin, Cousin Dennis is embarking on a fantabulous Chocolatey Adventure this half term. This egg-citing familiy show, sponsored by The Canny Chocolate Company, is chockablock with jokes, japes, dance, drama…and lots of chocolate…and we are are delighted to reveal the full cast here…

Glen Richard Townsend – Dennis: Glen is so excited to be back playing Dennis in Chocolatey Adventure after spending a lovely Christmas with his Auntie Bella in Aladdin. When he’s not donning his Dennis cap, Glen’s credits include 6 years of pantos at The Consett Empire, a UK tour of Catherine Cookson’s The Cinder Path, playing the title role in The Life of Reilly, The Tinman in the Wizard of Oz, and Comic in Bolton’s Easter panto Beauty and the Beast. He also sings in a function band called Charlie’s Angels that perform shows and events all over the north east.

Bethan Amber – The Cad-Bury:  Bethan Amber is a born and bred Sandancer, and a not so unfamiliar face to The Customs House, having previously appeared in productions such as Arbuthnot and the Jarra Bunny, Arbuthnot and Dame Bellas Christmas Adventure, and Snow White. When she isn’t on stage you can find Bethan working behind the scenes in various roles including Musical Director at Drama Geeks Performing Arts School. Bethan is excited to be back at The Customs House once again, this time trading in her usual spot on the good side of things and trying on some villain boots for size.

Lucas Bradley Benson – Wisdom Tooth, The Protector Of Teeth: Lucas is from County Durham. He has performed widely with a range of amateur societies. He graduated from Emil Dale Academy in 2021. His professional credits include: Peter Pan in Peter Pan (Stockport Plaza, 2023), Prince Charming in Cinderella (Stanley Civic Hall), Ensemble/ Male Swing in Rapunzel: A Tangled Musical Adventure (UK Tour, 2022), Lead Vocalist for Viking Cruises (2021/2022). His credits whist training include: Ernst Robel/ Dance Captain in Spring Awakening (Jason Marc-Williams) Drew Boley in Rock of Ages (Cressida Carré), Bat Boy in Bat Boy: the Musical (Jason Marc-Williams), Bert in Mary Poppins (Billy Cullum).

Chloe Millar – Lindt:  Chloe is a performer from Gateshead who trained in Acting at Arts Ed and Musical Theatre at London College of Music. Her theatre credits include: Cinderella (The Maltings), Pease Puddin’ Sandwiches (Live Theatre), Geordie Priest (Alphabetti Theatre), Where Did All The Magpies Go? (The Customs House), Sleeping Beauty (Gala Durham), Meet the Monsters (The Customs House), Frubes, Crème Eggs, Your Voice Your Future North East (Live Theatre), Rapunzel (The Customs House), Cherryade Supernova (The Customs House), Threesome – Xposed (Southwark Playhouse), Bridges Apart (Union Theatre). Other credits include Ends (Motif Pictures), On Love (Tyneside Cinema), The Perfume Shop Christmas 2021 commercial (Spark Media), Yes Friends commercial (Candour).

Rebecca Withers – Ferrero: Rebecca trained at The London School of Musical Theatre. Her credits include: Lead Vocalist (Viking Ocean Cruises) Ensemble/Swing in Robin Hood’s Adventures in Cooksonville (The Customs House), Alto Cover in The Comedy of Errors (RSC, Barbican Centre), Kate Monster in Avenue Q (The Old Joint Stock Theatre), Ensemble/Swing in Friendsical (UK Tour and Edinburgh Fringe); Buttons in Cinders the Adult Panto (Guildford Fringe Theatre Company), Ensemble in The Hired Man (Union Theatre), Mia in Little Baby Bum Live (UK Tour), Velma Dinkley in Scooby-Doo Live! Musical Mysteries (London Palladium and UK and Ireland Tour).
