Supporting Your School’s Artsmark Ambition
Published: 30th October 2017
In October we celebrated Artsmark week. As regional strategic leads for Arts Award working with Culture Bridge North East we have had lots of conversations with teachers about Arts Award’s benefits children. We know lots of schools are starting to think about Artsmark, so we wanted to share some ideas about how we can help and where you can find out more.
Artsmark is the creative quality standard for schools, accredited by Arts Council England. It brings many benefits to schools and students. Artsmark will help your school take its art and cultural education to the next level. To find out more about Artsmark visit http://www.artsmark.org.uk/.
If you are a North East School, thinking about signing up The Forge works in partnership with Culture Bridge North East to deliver training and guidance on Artsmark.
