Help support The Customs House by making a donation!

The Customs House is a not-for-profit charitable trust.  Any profits we make goes back into supporting our community and education projects, nurturing new creative talent and maintaining our Grade II listed building which is essential if we are to continue welcoming more than 250,000 visitors every year.

We may not be the biggest arts centre in the region but through your support we pride ourselves on being able to offer a wide range of experiences. Our motto is simple - ‘arts and entertainment for all’. From stage performances to cinema screenings, art exhibitions and get involved activities there really is something for everyone. We work with over 120 schools delivering Arts Award, Arts Mark and offering educational resources.  We provide a platform for young talent to write, produce and perform in front of packed houses and support community groups to learn new skills and develop exisiting ones .  Of course all of this comes at a cost which is why your help is so important.

There are many ways you can support your Customs House.  You can make a donation, join our Friends scheme, set up a direct debit, introduce a friend or family member to the venue or simply enjoy a meal in our Green Room.  Any money you spend really does make a positive contribution to our charity.

Please continue to support your Customs House by making a donation or visiting the links below.

Thank you - your support really is appreciated.

Become a custodian of The Customs House. Support your Customs House from as little as 10p per day.

We are searching for 3000 Custodians. It’s quite simple; we need individuals, families and companies to commit just 10p per day to our charity. A small amount, but together it will generate enough to help safeguard Your Customs House.

So if you value what The Customs House does for you, your family and the borough, now is the time to make a small daily gesture, which collectively will help secure its future. If you have ever laughed, cried, cheered, booed, danced in the aisles, sang along, enjoyed an exhibition, been filled with pride to see the bairn on stage, joined a group, celebrated an event; it’s time to sign up and show your support.

Please don’t leave it to others and don’t leave it too late. We are asking you to donate online through Virgin Money or complete a direct debit form for just £3 per month - only 10p per day.
