The Customs House Trust Ltd are setting up a Youth Theatre for young people aged 11-16 years. It will be based at The Customs House in Mill Dam, South Shields and there will be one or two hour sessions per week during school term time, with additional hours when approaching a performance. 

The Focus of the Youth Theatre will be on delivering and facilitating a regular programme of high quality drama by young people aged between 11-16 years. The Youth Theatre will devise its own work and there will be an opportunity for its members to develop their own experience of excellent drama by watching performances at The Customs House and other regional venues.

We are therefore seeking an enthusiastic, motivated drama practitioner with experience of leading young people in a youth theatre capacity. They must have experience of devising work with young people and directing performances.
