KPR PRESENTS ANNOUNCE FILMS FOR ANY GIVEN SUNDAY PROGRAMMING SCHEDULE
Events programmers KPR Presents have revealed programming details for their inaugural Films For Any Given Sunday events. Hosted by The Customs House, South Shields’ historic Premier Arts Centre, Films For Any Given Sunday will see four specially-themed nights running every Sunday.
Showcasing classic films, with an added-value twist, the events will transform movie screenings into a great value for money social experience, presenting food and drinks offers, triple plays and other special additions. Each themed-night will take place one Sunday of every month, meaning a different offer will be available every Sunday.
A teaser trailer for the event, produced by Newcastle’s Melting Point Media, can be viewed here.
Details as follows:
Sunday Roast: Perfect lazy Sunday films, topped off with a hangover-banishing roast sandwich, and salty tatties.
May 12th: Top Gun
June 2nd: Rambo
£10 (Includes: Ticket, roast sandwich, and roast potatoes)

June 9th: Evil Dead

May 26th: West Side Story
June 16th: Pretty Woman

KPR will be running weekly Twitter competitions in the run-up to the opening night, asking followers to put on their film geek thinking caps on, and answer tricky movie trivia questions in order to snap up tickets.
KPR Presents is part of Sunderland-based PR company Kittle PR’s expansion, which sees them branch out into events promotion, marketing and consultancy. Films For Any Given Sunday marks their first project, programming exciting events, encompassing live music, arts and film for The Customs House. The venue has recruited the company to draw in a younger audience, and help change current perceptions of The Customs House and the events it runs.
Drawing on their experience working on events such as Split Festival, Split Parade, Evolution, and Evolution Emerging, as well as past collaborations with local venues and organisations such as Independent Live, Sunderland Live, and The Bunker, Kittle PR are setting out to put together events and promotions across the North East.
Since their launch in February, Kittle PR have worked with a number of high-profile clients, such as Tiny Lights Recordings, The Lake Poets and Razmataz Lorry Excitement, put together the massively successful Split Parade, and helped launch the careers of such rising local stars as Natasha Haws.
