New Strictly Date Added After Fans Waltz Off with Tickets

DANCE fans better quickstep down to The Customs House to get their hands on one of next year’s hottest shows.

Bosses at the Mill Dam theatre in South Shields have added a second date of An Evening with the Stars of Strictly Come Dancing after the first sold out in days.
The event, which features the BBC One show’s Pasha Kovalev and Katya Virshilas, has kept phone lines hot as fans clamoured to get tickets.

And Pasha is proving to be just as popular this year, riding high at the right end of the leader board with Girls Aloud’s Kimberley Walsh.
Last year he was runner up with Waterloo Road star Chelsee Healey, but can he go one better?

Tim Flood, Marketing and Programming Manager at The Customs House, said: “The stars of Strictly never dim with the first performance sold out in a just days.
“I’m delighted to announce we have been able to secure this show for an additional performance on June 16 and with Pasha and Kimberley becoming one of the hot favourites to lift the show’s glitterball trophy, I’ve already booked my tickets. “And tickets for the show are the perfect surprise stocking filler for the other half. “

Pasha professional partner on the show was Katya last year and their partnership has continued despite her since having left the show.

Katya will be best known for dancing with cricketer Phil Tufnell and rugby star Gavin Henson.

An Evening with the Stars of Strictly Come Dancing is on Sunday, June 16. The April 13 show is now sold out.
