Positions Open:

The Customs House –Marketing Manager

37 Hours per Week

Salary: £26,000-£30,000 per annum

The Customs House is recruiting a Marketing Manager to head up a team of five. We are looking for someone with drive, originality, quirkiness and exceptional motivational skills.

You will be required to develop a strategic marketing and communications plan which will deliver increased audiences, increased awareness and a greater understanding of what The Customs House does across all its areas of operation. We are more than just a venue.

The Customs House is the main arts and culture venue in South Tyneside and as such we provide opportunities for our audiences and community to see work, create work and participate in the arts. We are also a consortium partner for The Cultural Spring the Creative People & Places programme for South Tyneside & Sunderland.

The Customs House – Cultural Development Assistant

Fixed Term – 31 July 2016

Part Time – Four days / 30 hours per week

Salary: £16,000 per annum, pro rata.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of the Cultural Development & Gallery team at The Customs House. The Customs House is the main arts venue in South Tyneside.

We are looking for a part-time (4 days / 30 hours per week) Cultural Development Assistant to assist in the coordination and delivery of creative programmes for the Cultural Development offer at The Customs House.

The post holder will be committed to the creation and promotion of excellent arts and cultural programmes that engage and involve participants, encourage new and diverse audiences and enhance the wellbeing of the communities we work with.

This is a hands on role that will provide the appointed person with lots of opportunities for training and personal development within a regional arts venue and be part of a small, but dynamic team.
